Health and Medical Assistance
In Canada, you can visit a walk-in clinic for your health issues. If you do not have MSP, you can still see a doctor, but you will have to pay for the visit. That is why having health insurance is important.
To find a clinic near you, search online. Hospitals in Canada are only for emergencies. If you have a broken bone, a serious injury, severe pain, or a serious illness, you can go to the hospital. You can also look online for the nearest hospital or call 911 in an emergency.
When visiting a hospital, bring:-
Your study permit and passport

Proof of medical insurance (BC Service Card [MSP card] or private insurance card)
